This movie is really good. For those who pine for the days of traditional family stories like "Death Of A Salesman" Denzel and Viola absolutely kill it. I love this story.

shareI saw Manchester By the Sea today, and the movie is great. But the fact that Casey Affleck is even mentioned with Denzel as actor favorite is mind blowing. Manchester is a better movie, but Denzel's performance is one of the greatest ever on film. It's insane Affleck is leading as best actor, when he simply had the better role and did not reach into the incredible depths that Denzel did. This reminds me of Raging Bull all over again.
