Brilliant play turned into an excellent movie. I wanted to see the play but never got the chance. So happy they made it into a movie. In my opinion the main players deserve an academy nomination! If you enjoy plays you will love this movie!

shareThe acting in this was great and the character study of this man and how his bitterness affects the rest of the family is greatly realized.

my father loved the movie because it remminded him of his upbringing. That same mentality DW had for his son was basically how he had for his sons (my uncles and father).
