I was not in the mood for a heavy drama like this when I was taken to see it, but man I could not look away. Excellent movie and what a display of the actor's craft. Denzel is just about always Denzel in any given movie, but there is a very good reason why that has worked so long. Couldn't take my eyes away from him.

all the way up to where troy and his son had that heart to heart about being a man, it looked like 1 long take, i was so deep into everything Troy said. This could be put to an audio book, and listen to this when i have of those long business trips. Denzel, another Oscar for you... my mannnnnn.
