So there are two photos we don't see at the end...

#1 There's a photograph that's taken when Callie gets caught at the window - but we never see it

and #2 the "blank" photograph, which isn't really blank the poarloid just isn't fully developed yet - but it's the film's way of saying they have no future

Yet we never see the polaroid of the 8am photograph, so did Callie ever see it or not? They show her get arrested in the daytime but we still see the 8pm photograph after a cross-fade of the machine....

Nevermind about photo #2, i realized it would be the police line do not cross photograph (again)

She gets arrested but it's still daytime and possibly just after she killed Finn so plenty of time for the police to come, investigate and take the 8pm photo

The 8am photo is the one with the painting of the green coil and the blood on the window, without the note because it falls as she is being taken away with Joe. Remember she tries to run back, but he catches her. That was always going to be the photo, she couldn't change anything. It gets sent back to the scientist because Finn figured out how to change the settings on the camera. The 8pm photo with be the shot with the crime scene tape across the window, which was sent to a week or so before. Callie had that one saved when she collected all the pics to hide.

The 8 am photo was not shown, but we know in the picture she must have wrote the message "don't get caught in front of the window" which she clearly does by the police officer walking by. she actually was giving herself messages, its ironic that she still got caught. But we knew she would get caught due to the previous night's picture which showed the police tape on the wondow. Clearly by 8 pm the note was gone, because it had fallen down. They never showed the scene, but we must assume at 8pm the police tape was on the window when the camera went off at the end of the movie.

well obviously they have no future. they're dead and callie's in prison. lol.

The polaroids take like a minute to develop. They fade to black before you see the next photo.

Agreed. That scene is just to remind us that the camera is still there, taking pictures. Probably to entice a new set of people into going insane over it.

Or just to be whisked away by the CIA.

The 8 am photo was already taken. It flashed when Finn walked into the living room just after Callie killed Jasper and gave Finn ice for his head and shuffled him off to their room.

So for #1 the 8 am deadline already elapsed before she was caught by Joe.

For #2 the picture would have just showed the crime scene state the second night.

You also have to remember that the camera is capturing things in real time for the person who set it. For all we know Mr. B set the camera to look ahead ~2 weeks and he got the 8 am picture of Callie just before Finn walks into the living room. In which case she wouldn't have seen it.

There are a lot of photos we never see. I put a "?" on them in this timeline: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2669336/board/thread/238896039
