Time travel-movies always got them... and even when there isn't, they're often complicated(or perhaps not told in such a way that's easy to comprehend) so some people "just don't get it".
But was there any plot holes in Time Lapse?
I don't know if you'd call it a plot hole or not but some of the decisions they make are a little non-sensical. Mainly, and this was bugging me throughout the entire movie, is why would you waste this opportunity on races? Why not get the lottery numbers? Then you have no bookie to be concerned with. Win the lottery once and you're set.
By the way, I am right behind you.
I don't know if you'd call it a plot hole, but I thought to myself that surely someone would've seen something (e.g. Callie, Finn, Jasper, etc. going in and out of Mr. Bezzerides' apartment) and thought it suspicious enough to call the police

I would have done the Mega Millions. Maybe a few state numbers. I mean, youve heard of that guy with the golden horse shoe up his butt? He won like 7 times. Wrote a book.
But if I did these stupid races, after a couple of days I would have won a few, lost 1. Because of that exact reason. Bookies are some un-savory people.
Not a plot hole but I thought after they won money they could have hired someone to help them move that machine to another place and then report the scientist's dead body.
