All Animè should be animated like this..

It's probably the highest quality animated movie i have seen in years, and most proportions of the human body are intact, no BIG eyes, no mouth that takes up 2/3 of the face, just very good proportions.

Sure, the female characters were abit slim, but phat people doens't belong in space simply because of the hardship that would allow only for fit people to survive.
The phat "funny sidekick" was an anomely...

I gave it a 8/10 simply because of the currently low grade, and i loved it.

Not many Animé movies make it on my great-movie list, this one did.

Besides, i got a hardon for movies with kickass spaceships.

Haha as well it should be, in the trivia section this film has Toei Animation's highest production budget to date, at over 30 million US dollars. I've only recently started watching anime again and the variety doesn't bother me, that's what makes it anime. But yea, spaceships are what do it for me too. Story was alright, but the anime was really good.

Sounds like we have similar tastes in animation. Have you seen the first Final Fantasy movie? Pretty amazing.

Looked good. But the people moved poorly half the time.

As for the female characters being slim. You obviously then havent seen any of Leiji's female characters then. Invariably the main ones are willowy thin, usually with very very long hair. Its pretty much a trademark.
