This better come out in UK cinemas or I will loose all faith in humanity, this needs to be seen on the big screen not straight to bluray.

^I agree, but i have to be very realist though. That kind of thinking won't happen as thats all European cinemas over here think about. Which is why i always tend to support independently owned theaters that specialist in showing indie and world cinema films as their norm etc. and go to them occasionally myself if i have to go and see something on the big screen like this movie.
Chances are though Space Pirate Captain Harlock will be a DVD experience for me at best!

This isn't getting a UK release. If it was more a conventional Japanese title, you could get lucky seeing it one of those art houses. But no, it's not happening.
