Funny, sentimental, and great show for a multi-generational family to watch together. Beautiful scenes shot in San Francisco.

It has that pilot casting vibe but somehow that made it even more likeable.

On a sidenote, I love how cast members from other Netflix comedies keep showing up again on new shows. Janet and Pillboi from The Good Place have small parts in this. Then Janet is in Kristen Bell’s new show Nobody Wants This, along with Melrose from GLOW. Anyone know why these folks keep working together?

The penultimate episode was great, with all the shots of San Francisco. I also liked seeing a mix of familiar faces from The Good Place, Brooklyn 911, Nora From Queens, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It sometimes became a bit maudlin, but never by too much, and it was enjoyable throughout. If they really do follow up with the promised second season, I'll watch.
