The Octavia story arc had already reached new levels of stupid, but the result of burning the hydro farm is so nonsensical it had to be written by a brain damaged fool.

It was established that half the people are fed up with Octavia and they support a new commander. It was also established that the valley could be shared without Octavia. Further, it was established that they didn't need the valley since they now had food.

Put all that together, and these writers believe it makes sense now for all these people to decide to follow Octavia after she destroyed their food source and committed them to starvation or war?? Only a true idiot would believe that to be a logical result. The people that were already fed up with Octavia would have simply killed her and moved peacefully into the valley. I'm really sick of bad, brainless writing.

You've got a good point, that was pretty silly.

Truth be told, there's been a lot of silly stuff in this show.
But I'm enjoying it nonetheless.

I agree, but I also think it shows how mentally unstable she has become. Hopefully here character arc is almost over. She needs to go, too many innocents are dead at her command to save a few. Many of whom didn't deserve to live in the first place. I can't imagine Lincoln would approve of what she has become, he was a warrior, but also a very compassionate person.
