I thought this movie was better than Into Darkness. At least this one had an original story and wasn't just a Space Seed/Wrath Of Khan copycat. Also, McCoy had a decent amount of screen time and finally some good banter scenes with Spock.

Most hardcore fan comments I've seen believe that Beyond is better than Into Darkness.
And I have the same rankings of the reboot films as you do.
I rate Into Darkness at 6/10 and my rating for Beyond is slipping down to about 6.5/10

I have them ranked in the same order you do. But I don't see the problem with the rating. I have Trek ('09) as an 8, Beyond as a 7, and Into Darkness as a 5.
