The most clever part of this movie is the opening with those tiny, terrified creatures that think everyone is out to get them. What are they?

I'm not sure who they are, but I AGREE, that was the best, most clever part of this movie. When I saw that opening scene, I thought we were about to see one of the best Trek movies ever. But sadly it was another standard TV episode.

Yeah I had hope after that scene, the movie started out promising, it went downhill once they begin the rescue mission.

That's the only scene I saw online and I admit I LOL'd for real! Can't wait to see the whole movie soon!
