1. Michael Bay. No seriously. He did amazing work with The Rock. And 13 Hours is awesome.
2. Simon West. Con Air. Enough said.
3. Rob Bowman. This guy has done some extraordinary work on Castle. And his feature films are great too.
4. Joss Whedon. He's done some incredible directing recently.
5. Matt Reeves / Drew Goddard. Cloverfield and Cabin in the Woods. Classic masterpieces.
