Could George Kirk be from the Mirror Universe in Trek4?

I was watching "Mirror, mirror" the other day and suddenly had the thought that the Mirror universe might play into the next movie. That way, you could have George and Jim Kirk on opposite sides of a conflict and have them learn to team up and cooporate, the way Mirror Spock and Kirk did in the original story.

The only thing is, I'm not sure if the "casual moviegoer" would understand the Mirror Universe idea, since we're already dealing with a different timeline in the reboot movies. But personally, I would love for the Terran Empire to come to the big screen.

Could be, chris pine has been campaigning for it he really wants too play evil kirk.

That could be really cool. I would like to see that. We only got to see parallel universes and alternate timelines in the various ST series over the years.

Since JJ Trek is already in its own timeline, we could have a mirror version of the JJ verse. TNG's Parallels episode showed that there were endless multiverses in Star Trek
