Ephraim and Vaughn work closely with Justine who runs the entire anti-vamp resistance. So why in gods green earth haven't they had Palmer Eldritch dragged out of his penthouse, beaten and interrogated for information on how he has been helping the "Master". If you remove Palmer from the equation it will cripple the "Masters" plans . So what are they waiting for?. This makes no sense
Because they don't have any proof. It's been a month now since this started. Ferraldo just barely trusts them. She's a politician--she's going to go up against one of the most powerful men in the country (the planet, really)? All the connections he's got? In Washington, as well as New York. Remember what Palmer did to those people Eph reached out to in Washington? He could do the same to Ferraldo--who'd stop him?
And now there's a chance Palmer could be useful to them.
One more example of why the fan nitpicks of this show usually prove that said fans aren't thinking it through.
Yeah, but that wasn't anything to do with the main protagonists. Eph likewise tried to assassinate him, and if anything, made him more powerful because of the sympathy that generated.
It's not like nobody's done anything about Palmer, but he's a hard man to get rid of.
How about the woman was thrown to her death from Palmers building, or those facilities he's been building or how about the fact that main cast knows that Palmer is having meetings with a vampire. A vampire who they know by name and appearance. A vampire that can be seen going in and out of Palmers building. It's not nitpicking to discuss glaring flaws in a plot. It seems that your intelligence should be the one in question.
What, because I pointed out that you're being a dick? Yeah, that attitude of attacking people and then attacking the people who point out that you're attacking people must work really well for you in life.
Because no one seems to have thought about having a recording device on their person during one of their encounters with Palmer. And they totally seem to have forgotten to debrief his aide before he got infected. What a treasure trove of information that would have been.
The fact that Palmer is setting those "centers" so quickly should have been a sign to someone that he seems to have almost "anticipated" what is occurring. But I guess once you put down the Internet (anybody on the series ever heard of satellites or ham radio?)you can "do" anything.
Such a lot of crap. You wouldn't have done any of that in their place--hell, you'd have been strigified before the pilot was half over.
They were WANTED CRIMINALS for most of the last few weeks. They just barely made an alliance with Ferraldo. When they tried to reach out to higher authorities, do you by any chance remember how that worked out?
All that happens is that they open themselves up to Palmer's allies, and risk losing what freedom of movement they have.
He's one of the major villains, and a damned interesting one. It isn't at all hard to buy that he'd still be free, given how much time he spent preparing for all this. With the partial exception of Abe, none of them were prepared for anything a month ago.
