I could have sworn I saw a worm crawl in her left eye after the explosion of bodies. Fet say's he didn't see and Goodweather didn't see any under the light, but she clearly has a worm shaped wrinkle under the same eye when she's tossing that reporter out.

It's pretty stupid that shining the light on the worm when it was on her forehead didn't kill it, but then when it's under her skin it gets fried in a second, but that's what happened.
I was wondering about that too. It seemed like Fet just sat there watching it crawl in. I didn't realize he zapped it after it got under her skin. A confusing scene.

They established it early on in season one that they can also burrow through bare skin. If he grabbed it with his bare hand, that would have been the likely result.
