Even in vampire folklore vampires are said to be extremely sexual beings, due to being possessed by incubus or succubus. With them going have loads of sex with their significant others and/or rape people, having Dhampir children. It was even said that male vampires had constant erections.
Not a complaint. Just thought I point that out.
This is a different folklore. Bram Stoker's Dracula didn't have sex, he just seduced. The vampires fromm 30 Days of Night just wanted to feed. So there are different takes on vampirism.

Might want to pick up her latest 2014 vampire book, Prince Lestat........lol Or should I say daddy Lestat.... Sex problem solved-ish... New one next month too. But nothing is better to the Anne Rice vampire then blood and what comes with it though. Anne Rice vampires are always erect too...In Tale of The Body Thief there is a remark about humans being flaccid (Anne confirmed it) and odd when Lestat is stuck in a human body and romps with a nun or whatever. He finds it pointless. In one of her past books when the vampires simulated sex it was all out of love without feeling wile the blood drinking was always the main event as well. She is my fav author, though I prefer the witch books. So I know too much lol. But really Prince Lestat. Sequel coming Nov. 29 2016.
