Why doesn't anyone raid the take-away stores?
Is it not common knowledge that an ordinary diesel car/suv engine runs on cooking oil? All you need is to drain the floaters from the oil and you can put it straight into your gas tank. While everyone else is fighting over the limited fuel left. Just raid the fast food joints. In episode 3.3 the doctor says something about how hard finding fuel in the city is becoming. OF course it would be a limited resource just like everything else. But there would be a lot less people "drinking from the trough".
