Psychology student doing a study on binge-watching

Hi - I'm a psychology student doing a study on television viewing behaviours. I would be really grateful if you had 10 minutes to participate via the link below.

Done mate. Probably worth sticking this on a Netflix series board (if you haven't already), then again it will more than likely skew the results.

That's great, thank you! I'm putting it all over the place to capture all sorts of viewing habits :)

reply

No problem. Yeah makes sense.

reply

I'll do it as soon as I'm done binge watching Dark Shadows.

See you in 3 years.

Done hope your study goes well.

Much appreciated thank you!

Well that was too complicated for me. Anyhow, I don't think binge-watching tv is any different than sitting down and reading a book for ten hours.

That was an interesting poll and I wish you the best with your study and in completing your education.

The nature of the questions did cause me to look at my binge habit in a different light. Generally, I consider that I binge watch because of a damaged memory due to a disability - PTSD. If I'm going to try and watch a show week by week, I will often have to binge watch one or more prior seasons just to refresh my memory. This has been something new for me since I had been blessed with an excellent memory before the PTSD.

I do wonder what others may choose as the primary reason for their viewing habits.
