So did...

...Eichorst just nuke the ancients? It would appear so. That would also mean Quinlan is gone as well. Also a vast chunk of NYC; at least underneath it.

reply

I'm thinking Quinlan was able to escape but NY looks to literally be falling apart.

reply

Same here, I think Quinlan escaped. He looked like he was right at the exit of the building. I mean he better off cos if not oh man I'm not gonna be happy. One of my favorite characters.

reply

Well Quinlan does have super speed... or is that another vampire lore? They are all different! If not, chances of him getting far enough away, if he realized what the suitcase was before it went off, are slim. Eichorst was well away from the blast, managed to be across the river via beneath it it appeared, and being underground fallout is probably minimal. I do not know much about below ground nuclear tests and their affect on the surface regarding radiation.

reply

I only think he got away due to what you brought up about the suitcase. As soon as Quinlan saw it he started fighting his way out and running to the exit, unlike the ancients who stayed fighting in one spot.

reply

The ancients have never seen a silver briefcase with flashing lights before.

reply

My only favorite character. The rest are total dumb-asses

reply

it looked like to me that the suitcase was a light bomb not a nuke
