I thought Gus's mother was already killed
I was surprised she got away from the sweepers. Well she's dead now..

I thought the same thing. How would she survived that. She would of been killed immediately. Those things don't run away they always attack. Pretty lame story line anyway.
shareYeah, it really doesn't make any sense at all.
1. It was daytime, so it's not like she can escape outside, so she's trapped in the building.
2. Since Angel released her on the sweepers, they clearly know she's there, and it'd be completely illogical to just ignore her since it's their job to sweep that building.
3. There were like... 5 or 6 guys who tackled Gus and Angel, so they had plenty of manpower to follow Gus' mother down that other hallway, and would've had no problem finishing her off.
4. It's been a week and a half to 2 weeks since that happened. So did the sweeping team just leave without looking for her and then just give up, NEVER going back to that building to finish the job?
The sweepers shot about 500 rounds in every direction, and managed to miss the fat ugly monster with the hockey helmet on her head.
I guess they wanted to milk the pus out of her death scene twice, so that Gus could pretend to act and feel sad about his Mom for the 47th time.
i agree guys. there's no F'ing way his mother wasn't killed in that idiotic football helmet scene (where Angel became a total dickbag for releasing tied down vamp mother at the men who were simply trying to protect humans from vamps).
