The true weakness of the Ancient vampires are....SPOILERS

Destroying their birth sites. But it seems a nuclear weapon will do since Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe.

reply

Just out of curiosity, what does destroying a birth site entail? Just moving all the dirt away or something?

What a lovely way to burn...

reply

In the books, it was nuking the borthsite.

reply

I mean a nuke could kill the crimson words in them I guess... So yeah. Given that the next episode is named "the fall" perhaps we're more nuclear material.

reply

It's called "The Fall" because Dutch and Eph amplify the immobilization device they made and paralyze all of the Strigoi in the city. This allows them to relax, commandeer a boat and take a leaf-peeping tour up the Hudson (colors are at or near peak!) We all need a break, especially from the stress of trying to prevent the end of mankind.

...and Mrs. Taylor sure seems to use a lotta ice, whenever he's away

reply

It's called The Fall because that's the name of the second book. It's possible that it's when the global Strigoi takeover begins. Which means it's quite possible the Dutch/Eph contraption either fails or goes horribly wrong.

it seems like the true weakness of the Ancients was laziness since they didn't get off their asses to try and stop The Master until it was too late.
