The Master is in trouble but...
Never summons Kelly who is downstairs?
Has one ex-Navy SEAL strigoi...no one else?
Thankfully in the end, he can rely on the heroes being incompetent.

More like a incompetent little *beep* stain kid who they should've thrown in the river awhile ago messing things up.
shareThey were incompetent for petty bickering and leaving Ephrem behind, and maybe not quadruple chaining and padlocking that coffin.
No Ephrem at Stoneheart, no confrontation. Plan to rid of Master goes forward....maybe. Eichhorst could still nuke the city out of spite, but by then they'd be out to sea....but then the EMP effect would affect their boat.

They were actually very competent. They boxed him up, and were about to bring him out into the ocean and sink him.
Just a couple of padlocks kept that box closed, no additional chains or anything.
When they saw the nuke explode they all had enough time to get in cover, bicker a bit at Quinlan, but left the box out there in the open to get blown away?
All of that was way too predictable and made me kinda angry while watching.
