Kelly at the end...what happened? i'm confused.

i have NO idea how Kelly died. we see Eph's hand around her throat but the way the scene was shot/blocked it looked like she was going to bite/strike Eph but then her still human side kept that from happening. clearly i'm wrong because whatever happened set that little F'ing brat off causing him to end the world.

reply

I think he stabbed her in the neck. It wasn't entirely clear.

reply

It looked like he was choking her, which shouldn't even be a way to kill a vampire since they don't breathe. But then when she was on the ground she was leaking worms.

reply

ok, phew! i'm glad it wasn't just me who was confused on this. whoever directed this ep really F'd up on her death scene. if none of us are certain how exactly she died then they did a piss poor job in this scene which is a shame. Natalie Brown, who did a fantastic job as human AND vamp Kelly, deserves better.

reply

I think that they just went cheap on the FX, and did not spill blood all over his arm, as the blood would have had worms, and Epp would have gotten infected, which would have been a plus. Then maybe Epp would have chomped on his turd son.

ok, i just rewatched the scene again, apparently Eph (with his knife) stabbed Kelly under her chin just as she was going to tongue/bite Eph. the scene is filmed so poorly it's difficult to tell at first IMO.

Jett:
Sorry to sound boastful but it was clear as day when I saw it. He thrust up through her chin and into her brain. I understand the confusion though if you didn't notice his hand under her chin. The blade wasn't visible so that didn't help.

I had to rewatch it myself, I'm glad I'm not alone in not seeing it right away.

But she was stabed threw the neck, you don't see the knife so it's hard to tell, I was expecting her to get back up when I first saw the episode.

reply

No the neck was not touched. Through the bottom jaw, then upper and finally brain. Not sure if the blade was really that long but.........
