Seriously?Why is the writing for this show so moronic?The there are as much plot holes as there are many strigoi/vampires in that show.

shareThe Master is such a boring shallow character.He is not scary at all.Even thou ancients are even more boring and bunch of do nothings he is still barley used.Only to give the white and just look cool on screen when he actually appears.
Plots holes are crazy.They use the vampire speed to move characters off screen when it's convenient.Series has turned from scary vampire invading the city and potentially the whole world to some boring drama about who loves who and who *beep* who.Nobody gives a *beep*.
After first season series kinda stopped with the writing and just kept circling around the plot.Even thou it's obvious the German guy (forgot his name) together with the master OR master alone could have killed the whole group of our heroes.I mean in the beginning he was moving way too fast for camera to detect him and he moved object that weights 500pounds and keep moving the same fast speed.But now he can't even dodge a stupid silver grenade.
Of course the worst thing in the entire show is the kid.He is so selfish,ignorant,pathetic and just plain stupid that i want to just give him up to the vampires or use him as meat shield in some cases.Like seriously,people died because of that little idiot for no good reason.Not to mention how his acting is a joke, he only has one facial expression all the time!
Well i already said the ancients didn't really do anything and are beyond stupid, as if they couldn't have escaped that explosion themselves.All of a sudden Main Eph and Dutch found some organs/body parts in vampires which they use to communicate with each other.But they haven't found that out when they first did the autopsy???Such *beep*
The German guy can dodge when someone shoots at him not more than 100m away but he can't dodge a blade that is next to him??If i would to list every plot hole i would just be writing the script of the series if you get what i'm saying.
You probably can't watch anything without complaining how unrealistic it is.Of course Dutch and Eph couldn't figure out how the vampires communicated at first! No one in the world could dissect a totally alien being and know what what organs do what.And "the German guy" wasn't even looking at the sword Tha lopped his hand off, he was attacking Eph whom he thought was alone. Dutch's overly girly use of weapons was enough because she blindsided him.Its a very hard subject to make believable and still have it entertaining. The books are far bleaker and less action orientated. I actually prefer the show.
sharethe writing on this show has been shockingly terrible ever since season 1. the characters do THE most idiotic, unrealistic things (yes, unrealistic even in a show about vampires) in order to move the plot along. this is still an enjoyable show but in a schlocky, guilty pleasure type of way.

True. The writing is amazingly bad. There is campy bad, ironically bad, sloppily bad, but this show's writing is bad in such careless and vile way that I am wondering what they do to the human beings who write that crap. Under normal conditions a writer could not write something like that, so they must really mistreat the poor fellows, keep them in a cellar and make them wish for cancellation desperatly. And somehow keep them from sticking their pens deeply into their own brains in an attempt to shorten their suffering.
