I have watched three episodes of series three but have seen the thread titles.

Max Charles heading towards being 14 years old will wish perhaps to be either a chick or of course a guy magnet. Cute looking in his IMDB picture of course but now it seems and evil piece of waste matter. Added to the fact that he just was not liked from the early stages either as a young actor or as the character.

Now these threads have a habit of bringing out the worst in people who are really unknown and can say what they like.

This guy has to be if normal impressionable and if the dislike gets any more intensive he might just believe he is somewhat depressed and be found in a wardrobe with blue tinged flesh or worse on the other side of a door with a tie around the handle just to make whoever discovers his lifeless body live the next 90 years out with guilt.

SO hang back there good buddies. He might be able to get his life back to non acting normal if not picked up for any more parts.

I think you're the only one that can't differentiate between the actor and the character. All of these threads are about how much people hate Zach. I don't think anyone has had anything bad to say about the kid that plays him. If anything, he's done a great job in portraying a character that people love to hate and probably gets praise for it.

Hell I hated Joffrey with a passion, but when I ran into Jack Gleeson at a Panera Bread, you better believe I got a fun picture with the guy.

You might want to check his resume. Max has an impressive resume for an adult let alone a teenager who just turned 13 a few months ago.

If you don't like Zach, which obviously you don't, then Max has done his job and in my opinion has done it well. Seems to me too many Strain viewers can't tell the difference between character and actor where Max/Zach is concerned. Do you feel the same way for actors playing vampires? He's a very talented young man and I have no doubt he will be acting for a very long time.

To piggyback on sdtony's spot on point, less of the hate has to do with the actual character than it does the nonsensical writing. Most of the horrible things he's done, people have reacted like "Uhh what?? Why would ANYone EVER do THAT?!" Z has become this show's primary vessel for its awfully imbalanced writing.

So yeah, the kid is experienced and successful in Hollywood. If people thinking a character he plays (who just nuked NYC) is terrible bothers him so much, there's no way he'd have made it this far.
