the only other character that i've hated as much as Zach is Chris on FEAR THE WALKING DEAD. that's saying something because i HATED HATED Chris on that show thankfully he's been killed off. now if only that would be the case on STRAIN.

He has passed Negan in villainy, vileness and scrawniness ( not easy with how decrepit Negan looks ). He's even more evil than the Master now and uglier to boot.

Seriously, Negan kills two guys and the whole world has an epic meltdown. Setting off a freaking nuke is what a real hardcore evil villain does. The Strain just outdid The Walking Dead in the villain department. They said "big deal, your guy kills two people, well watch what we have a little boy do in our finale".

I don't consider Zach as an evil villain.He's not smart enough to be a villain. I consider him disastrously stupid. I want to beat him to death with Negan's bat.

Carlie, yes, season 4 was officially announced several weeks ago. it will be the final season of this show with (i think) 10 eps.

There are Zach apologists?!?! Zach joins my most hated characters list EASILY.
In fact, he joined way back in season 2 when he, as a 12 year old, couldn't
fathom the most basic facts. I understood parasites and predators etc when I
was much younger. He should not be this dumb... it's like he intentionally
does it.

Seriously this kid is a mass murderer, there is no going back from that. This
kid needs to be put down, HARD.

Bozo-Face, no. maybe the actor himself IS a good actor, i've only seen him on this show, but he always just has the same bitch face/brat face in every scene. i've never seen him show any range whatsoever on this show. part of that is the writing yes but i suspect the fact he's a limited actor being the other factor. there is no nuance in the performance the young actor is giving. fortunately for him he's young enough to work on his craft and get better at his acting.

What can I add here? Not much. The OP nails it, this character is the worst villain ever, and I actually liked the kid until the finale. That's a nuke too far, even for me to defend such a child.
