Why on Earth does Eph want Zach back?

Seriously, that kid is the true definition of evil. He could have the worst upbringing possible but turn out a good person. Zach is just a monster at heart and deserves death (very slow and painful); if we misbehave how about we just blame it on genetics and take no personal responsibility. I hope the writers kill of the monster of a prick in the 4th season.

Come on. It's his son. Wouldn't you want your kid back especially if he was this lost of a soul? Yes, you would too. We all would.

reply

You're more forgiving than I am. I believe in firm discipline and if that fails, "get the fudge out of the house, ungrateful prick."

They died because ... it's in the script, now shut up.

reply

No, I wouldn't.

I don't care about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

reply

Well, like I said. Easy to say in the abstract.
Either that or you're no father at all. Any real man, or father would want their son back.

reply

No, they wouldn't.

I don't care about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

reply

That's your personal opinion.
My personal opinion is most parents would.

reply

You are a living oxymoron .. How can you have a PERSONAL opinion about what OTHER people would do/think? The very fact that is a PERSONAL opinion means that it pertains SOLELY to YOU and no one else.

reply

This is going to sound cruel but I would disown him. I am generally against something like that but in this case I would. Zach is a good for nothing mass murderer.

reply

You're both correct in theory. But in the heat of the moment I doubt you would so easily turn off the switch on the child you love.

reply

Under Apocalypse rules, I think it would be OK, to brutally exterminate Zach (where's your Momma now, you dumb little bastard?) and find an orphan who might be a bit younger, and say: "YOU ARE MY SON. If you want to live, remember this picture, it is your Mom."

reply

There is no redeeming a mass murderer; how could anyone love a mass murderer?

Like I said the "tough talk" argument responses are all logical and awesome responses. I personally agree with everybody on an emotional level but Eph's making his own emotional argument as a dad who loves his son. And truth be told all of us, if we love our kid, we would want the evil little jerk back. Apocalypse or not, you all know it's true. But it does feel good in the moment to say we'd be tougher and we'd disown the evil little twerp, and talk tough in theory. If only we could do it in reality. It's our nature as humans, as much as it feels good to say how tough and badass we'd be towards someone else's evil kid. But, in reality none of us (Almost none of us) would so easily kill the little creep. He's still a kid,our kis, so as a good loving father who's pretty responsible, Eph will try to save the evil little bastard. But if things escalate, Eph will reluctantly sacrifice the little twerp for the greater good IMO.

reply

No, anybody with any sense would straight murder him.

I don't care about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

reply

Anybody with any sense wouldn't make a statement like that because er, personal opinion.

reply

No, killed Nora, he has it coming.

I don't care about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

reply

I agree with you, but he is a kid and it's still his son regardless.

reply

So?

I don't care about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

reply

No child of mine would EVER act that way .. so the point is moot. ;D

This is all down to the idea that love for a child is unconditional. It is expected like lover yo momma crap.

I do have children and of course there is that great love for them. But when does that love become untenable? It must in so any areas. What I do know is that many young men not called Zach [more likely Mohammed somewhere in the full name] is involved in the killing of many but will still not only be loved but protected, hidden due to a secret pride in their efforts for the will of Allah. Zach will be in this group and at the moment while having felt that his mother [whatever that is] has a life equal to that of his father in this tale means that he can exact some form of retribution for her loss. Having st off the bomb still has not got our drunken hedonistic father to off his son. Well we do see quite a lot of odd emotional clap trap in our media. Even back in 73 it might have been better to kill Regan to remove the devil inside but no the mother and the priest played the love card. To be crude if Regan had just been a little boy the priest might have handled it somewhat differently.

The series [mind you i beleive the credit is to a comic book tale] did give another slant to the VAMPIRE story. I find that that is quite interesting. Not too keen on the lovey dovey TWILIGHT. Other movie tales recently have given up interesting slants on that area of the supernatural involving Dracula and his kind. Interview was different, and of course the telling way back now of the version with Gary Oldman. Daybreakers, and even I am legend are all good variations of the folklore being brought up to date. While way back dear Boris only wanted his few to benefit we are now faced with since the EVIL DEAD variations of humans infected in so many ways in a plague way that taken to any logical conclusion everyone will be affected and therefore the earth is human free. The strain is no different in this manner. All will be affected. I wonder what the MASTERS masterplan could actually be then?

It seems most of our main characters have survived. DOes fall out not affect the Strigoi or their masters?
