When Eichorst was meeting with Palmer's underling, they were in a warehouse that was being turned into a slaughterhouse/blood farm. Remember the place that had the meat hooks and conveyor?

I guess that's the problem when you take The Walking Dead and want to make a vampire show. Zombies have no plan, no plot, they're mindlessly spreading the disease. It makes absolutely zero sense for vampires to make everyone else a vampire.

That was brought up in season 3. They would maintain a stock of humans as cattle to be drained of blood in that factory that looked like a slaughterhouse for humans.

That (like someone mentioned Daybreakers above) does look to be the main plot for Season 4, which it was in the books too. Looking forward to it.
