I am so VERY tired....

of excellent, brilliant shows being dangled under my nose and then - BAM! - they're gone. This show never had a bad episode; every one was great. Beauty and the beast however, never had a good one. B&TB is renewed; Almost Human is cancelled - HOW is that even possible? Am I missing something - perhaps someone in the cast of B&TB is related to the channel's owners?

They should've killed off the 'no talent'/'no x-factor'/'famous for doing nothing' shows instead. The ones where we're supposed to be interested in a marriage imploding because the husband can't keep his pants on.....but we're not; it's just they're super cheap to make.

But THIS was one show was worth saving. Does anyone know if AH could still get saved by a different channel - such as sci-fi? It's my last hope for a great show not to die...I know it does happen occasionally.

Just a shame the US channels don't poll their other customers that buy these shows - they'd find there's a whole different dynamic out here. Although I suspect most Americans are sick to their back teeth with all the reality/teenage angst garbage that's being churned out on both sides of the pond at the moment too.

Stop watching network TV. It's one reason why I don't watch series on network TV until they are over. Burned too many times to count, until I adopted that policy.

Sci-fi on network TV? You knew it wasn't going to get a second season, from experience.

As for another network picking it up, little to no chance. It rarely actually happens. Some networks will hold rights to a show to prevent that from happening. Why? So that another network can't turn it into a success against them.

I watched it, because I didn't want to wait to see it later. I knew it wouldn't get renewed and went into it expecting that.

Learn to temper your expectations, otherwise you will be "tired" a lot.

I don't think I'd want to be quite so pessimistic as that. As for network tv; that's pretty much all we've got here in the UK when it comes to drama/sci-fi.

Perhaps I will merely watch in future with a 'hope for the best and prepare for the worst' mindset. But thanks for replying; though as an insomniac, I probably will remain 'tired' a lot anyway.
