The raid mystery needed more screen time

I will say that I love this show. But, I wish that the raid mystery had been a running back story through out the season.

Take the show Life for example. It was very much a procedural cop show. However, Damian Lewis' character also worked on trying to solve the mystery of who set him up and got him wrongfully imprisoned. I wish that they would've taken a page out of that playbook. If Kennex and Dorian had run their own investigation into the raid as a backstory, it would've made the show even better IMO. Then again, I'm guessing that the writers figured they had more time to work with and were probably surprised with the cancellation.

You cant have a background story and mix up the episodes air dates. They already planned to cancel it form the beginning since they started it that way so no one could follow it as anything other than another cop buddy show.

Yes. But that was their main over arcing thread.

To be honest, I don't like how they handled any of their main plots: Dorian's origin, the raid or over the wall. Got ideas but poorly handled.
