I miss this show...

Me too. Currently watching it on the El Rey network, and it bums me out that it wasn't given a fair chance to flourish. This was a fun show.

it was always going to fail. A bunch of mostly unconnected 'crime of the week' episodes, shown in a haphazard order. For a show to be really great, it needs a connecting plot to give the characters growth and add some intrigue, but it just massively dropped the ball on that. The only way the show could have thrived was with an entirely new showrunner - the show was doomed from the start and had no chance in its original setup.

I rather enjoyed it whether it was out of order or not. I found it to be quite entertaining. Especially when Dorian via technical jargon was telling Kennex that he had blue balls. Even my husband cracked up over that.
