Last gripe about the stylistic choices for the ending of "Sharp Objects", but did anyone else find the editing waaaaay too quick as it jumped between Amma's killings?
I didn't need the TV series to linger in salacious detail on the murders, but I had to play the scene in slow-motion to see the multiple hands of Amma's friends on Natalie. Also, I couldn't make out Mae's face against the fence at all. It was incomprehensible.
I just finished a binge watch of the entire series. The flash of scenes after the credits was incredibly annoying. But I think it was meant to be a flash of thoughts going through Camille's mind as she realized what had happened. But it is an insult to the viewers, who have invested 8 hours watching the show, to have the reveal done in such a hasty manner. WTF!
shareExactly, well said. Not only 8 hours, but 8 weeks of loyal viewing and they deliver scraps. Very insulting. We never learn what happens next. Does she turn in Amma? From what I read on wiki, the book tells more.
