shareIt is not that real. I liked how no-fuck-giveable (or just stupid?) is Yana and the weird aspects of the story. They got the tone right and hired some good actors, but the story is slow burning, of the kind that can be compressed to a The Twilight Zone episode, and the suspenseful scenes, while competently executed, do not always satisfy.
Don't get me wrong. It is worth watching and it is a better movie than all that derivative Hollywood hypster horror crap. Not that Oddity lacks cliches, but at least they tried to deliver an interesting story without bombastics. Surely it is one of the better horror movies this year, but most likely I won't be remembering it.
