jeez, did anyone who loved the 1st one like the 2nd one?

I did. The crude humour alone was enough to turn off most pretentious critics but as long as you don't get offended by that sort of thing, you'll be fine.

I saw it and didn't think it was that bad. Wouldn't go as far to say it was good, but it's enjoyable enough if you liked the first.

When I saw the first one I thought it was easily the funniest movie of that year. I've been looking forward to seeing the 2nd one. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Fairly disappointing after the first one being so great. They should have turned it into a series instead.

Bianca Haase was the star of the flick for me.

Also, it needed more Gillian Jacobs.

Loved the first one, but the sequel didn't even try to make sense, and it wasn't even compatible with the facts from the first one! Nick didn't stay behind in the first one, so he couldn't have copied people's songs, for example. Plus the sequel went way too far in the Seth Rogan/James Franco gross out style.

i didnt love the 1st one , but it was pretty nice. John Cusack played a big role on that for me , plus the plot was pretty good. But the second one was such a disaster...damn

I liked it. I don't really understand the hate. It's a movie about a hot tub time machine so all belief should be suspended. Its a good laugh if you liked the first one. If you didn't like the first you obviously won't like this one.

The first was awesome! This was just awful.

The lack of funny didn't annoy me as much as the complete change of Rob Corrdrys character. Lou was a loveable loser in the first film. In this he's really not nice and has no redeeming qualities. Was really weird that they changed his characters personality.
