I could see them bringing Stefan over, because he has already appeared in the crossover and because I think Paul would be one of the most willing to stick around in Atlanta to be with Phoebe.

I would say both Damon and Bonnie are a definite no because Ian and Kat said last year that this would be the final season for them before the network announced TVDs final season.

I think Alaric might fit with the human faction if he continues his work with artefacts for the Armory (I remember reading something else on either this board or TVD about how in TVD they might go looking in New Orleans for a specific dark object/device this season).

Caroline would fit for the obvious shipping purposes, but also if Alaric is in New Orleans, then his daughters would likely move with him and Caroline wouldn't want to be apart from them. Additionally, Hope might need some friends roughly her own age that have had an equally supernaturally disruptive upbringing so that she doesn't go insane; enter Josie and Lizzie.

Matt could transfer to NOPD? He has also appeared on TO, plus there is his history with Rebekah which Elijah referenced in 3x17. I think his Dad is going to be introduced this season on TVD, so something to do with that? Idk.

Tyler, again has already appeared on the show. Has history with Hayley and Klaus, could want to be a hybrid again because he is miserable, comes looking for Hope for her blood. He would overlook being sired to Hope and he would accidentally become the Jacob to her Renesmee.

And Enzo? He's never met the Originals if memory serves me correctly so...

That's assuming TO lasts any longer than TVD.

Not too happy about this news. The only character that I'd be curious about seeing on TO would Stefan. But I have a feeling that if it's going to be anybody, they'll try to put Caroline on there because Klaroline is a dead horse that the writers just can't stop beating.

But who knows if TO is even going to make it past this season.

Honestly? Can't see any of them fitting in without being forced.

I believe Ian and Kat are out; I think they want to move on.

I know Paul has expressed his desire to leave TVD, BUT I think we all agree that TO has a different focus than TVD, so he might be willing, especially if he can stay near Phoebe.

Nina is out, so no Elena or Katherine. Maybe she'll agree to another flashback as either Tatia or Katherine.

Candice - I can't see her switching shows. She might do a "100-500 years into the future, she's at a ball and we hear, "Hello, Caroline" and she turns to see Klaus" scene before the screen goes black. But I haven't heard if she wants out, if she wants to spend more time with her daughter & family, if she's looking for other opportunities - so if she wants a job, if she wants to remain in the public's eye, if she wants to keep working - she might. Maybe? IDK.

I really hope it's not Matt. He's the least liked / appreciated character on TVD, no need to bring him over. Mystic Falls is his hometown; can't see him leaving.

It shouldn't be Alaric. If it wasn't for the kids, I'd say yes to this. But we don't need, as another put it, "vampire daycare."

Don't think it'll be Tyler again. He's had his story on TO. Unless they really start to focus on the wolves (and who wants that at this point?) and he's brought in to sway wolves to his cause/side, against Hayley and/or Klaus.

It won't be Jeremy; he's on a hit show on a bigger network.

I can see it being Enzo because he's a clean slate.

I can see it being Valerie (did she get cast on another show?); again, clean slate and very powerful.

Stefan, Stefan, and Stefan MAYBE ALONG with Enzo, as a buddy-cop like team.

Stefan's already been on the show, Paul stated he really liked the atmosphere. Yes, he's been crapping on TVD for years for its WRITING, he said he loved the stuff he worked with on TO. Plus Phoebe etc.

Enzo has clean slate like another mentioned but I myself would dig a buddy-cop style introduction with Stefan instead of Enzo solo.

Caroline and Joseph Morgan are obviously against the Klaroline pairing. Caroline the kids' mother on TVD now, she's most likely not jumping.

Alaric has everything to fear from TO, not cause his twins but because last time they seen eachother, he tried to murder them all, and DID stake Klaus. Makes 0 sense.

Matts hometown is Mystic Falls, he doesn't like TO besides Rebekah and she's only there half the time.

Tyler hates them all and is potentially dying in the TVD mid season finale.

Kat Graham is done after S8, Bonnie's also potentially dying come series finale.

Damon's getting a happy ending with Elena and Ian's also done after S8.

Stefan and Enzo together or Stefan solo. No Steroline, no Calaric, no Forwood, none of that.

Actually, the more I think about this, the more it sounds like another one of JP's infamous you never know vague "promises" - something she says just to keep viewers hooked/watching, giving fans false hope. It's how she rolls. Won't be surprised if nothing comes of it, no one crosses over & she claims, "not organic."

It depends whether as recurring or regular. My wish list:
Regular: Stefan and Caroline, taking Camille's place. A new love interest, even and "old" new one like Aurora (or Aya or Valerie for that) should not be the focus of this show.
Recurring: Bonnie, Tyler.

What I will get is probably my least favorite character Matt.

I don't want the teen romance stuff from VD to come on to TO, so never to Caroline.
