So I have these oil and acrylic paintings on canvases that needs to be framed. I mean they are not shaped to be hanged directly. What can you guys suggest me to use to hang them

1) Use the command painting hanging tape to put them on wall as such without framing them since there is nothing on back of canvas which I can use to hang it.

2) Frame them? But which kind of frame, with the glass or without it? And where can I get a good deal for frames? (I have about 20 paintings).

The first one. A frame may take away from the painting, plus this way its more original.

I am just afraid that what if they fall down and damage the canvas? Have you ever used those tapes? Are they strong enough to keep it up?
