OT Hacksaw Ridge

Just saw the film. Wow, what an amazing film. I was both awed and horrified at the horrors of the war. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it 100%. You will leave the theater with your heart in your throat.

Anyways, the guy who played the original Kol (sorry his name escapes me) plays the main character's brother. His part is small, but he does a really good job. His A,ericam accent was believeable. And I never noticed how he and Andrew Garfield (lead character) do favor one another! They pulled off believeable brothers. And he looked good in uniform ;-)

It's crazy how much he and Garfield favor one another?

I hope that this is a comeback for Mel Gibson. I believe everybody deserves a second chance at redemption.

I do believe he was just nominated for directing for a golden globe. He most likely won't win, but getting the nod is a huge win for him.
