What's Next: A time jump! It's going to take a Hayley a minute to be able to figure out a way to wake the rest of her family. Meanwhile, with the Mikaelsons out of commission, New Orleans is vulnerable to a whole new host of threats that may be too much for Marcel and Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) can handle. Powerful vampires and even god-like creatures will descend upon the city with powers we haven't seen before. We also know that the Mikaelsons will have to return at some point (otherwise, what is this show?) and you can imagine that they will be super pissed when they finally make it back home.

I find this very fun after reading some other spoilers but it seems that Marcel or Vincent might be ones who will free Klaus to handle this new threat.

and you can imagine that they will be super pissed when they finally make it back home.

They are angry?! LOL.

They deserved what they got. I hope they remember what brought that upon them before unleashing their anger. But I guess that will be too much to hope for.

God like Creates... that bit is very fascinating.

EDIT: They are talking about that five year time jump, right?

Well, she does have to track down a lot of info and more importantly, find people willing to help the Original vampires. That won't be easy, given the history and reputation of the Mikaelsons.

I think the main reason for 5 years is so Hope can walk and talk. I heard the baby wasn't easy to film with. But for story purposes, I think that's what we'll get: Hayley moving around trying to find info and witches to help, and probably not having a lot of luck.

ALso I get the feeling that she will need blood from werewolves from ALL original packs. That will def take time; finding them and convincing them to help. One of them we know from spoilers is the last of her pack, I can only imagine the difficulty she must have faced in tracking her down. She definitely went to great lengths to cover her tracks if she was living among normal people as a doctor IIRC.

That was probably better than magically aging up Hope, given that she has an important role this season.

Since when was this show about the Mikaelsons?

I mean, I know they pitched it to fans as being about them. I know the title refers to them. But Plec/Narducci constantly just blow the entire family off to focus on their various Writers Pets (except Klaus and Elijah) to the point I really don't feel like it's the show that was advertised to us. Which is why I (and, presumably, a majority of the viewers) have quit the show
