Michael Narducci ........

...is leaving TO. Someone shared the article with me. It's in the Hollywood Reporter.

Isn't TO the only show Julie has left? She'll probably run it herself.

reply

Really. That's interesting. I wonder how that will effect the show going forward.

I take that asa very big hint to the show's end..

I'm trying hard to stay positive because I don't want TO end, but that's most likely what outcome will be. :(

It breaks my heart how hard the showrunners and cast have fought for this show. If there's any small mercy, they already know as well as the CW letting the cast out of their contracts.
Michael Narducci needs to look to his future and if the CW is dragging their heels- they can't hold onto a show that the network is determined doesn't matter indefinitely.

If by some fluke, there's a fifth season- Julie is more than competent as long as she keeps the same writing staff since there's no way it would extend beyond that. The only thing at this point that could upset me is Kevin Williamson becoming attached. I'm not a Carina MacKenzie fan but Kevin has turned the last season of TVD into a cringe filled trainwreck. I know that between Ian being a tool making it difficult for Nina to feel comfortable about returning, that there was always going to be issues but still.

I want The Originals to end this season. I really do.

Kevin shouldn't be allowed to even touch this show.

It feels similar to Joss Whedon taking over Angel except worse. There's no way that I believe Kevin Williamson will understand the show and the characters enough for him to be able to write for this show. Just because you wrote the main show doesn't mean you should be able to write the spin off that's been written by other people with a different direction for years without your involvement.
