IMDB board are shutting down good riddance.

The game of thrones boards are pretty bad, but this one was fine as are other ones that I lurk on.

This is kind of sad, since I mostly use imdb for the message boards and to hear what other people think of a show/movie.

As an active member of the Politics board, I want to say good bye to the board here that really drew me into IMDb as more of a real hobby.

And as for your thing about homophobia, racism, etc. Half of that was trolls just trying to make you snowflakes angry. I doubt there was really that much racists on here. No one ignored the trolls, despite my little image signature link in the past (now replaced to my story link for IMDb ending).

I think it may have been closed for the politics board, etc - where it ended up any control of a narrative or administration. And that in my opinion, was a good thing - not a bad thing. But then again, not everyone can tolerate ignorant people, and not everyone can tolerate their echo chambers being invaded. I loved the debate. Whether the left, the right, or just the movie debate. I wanted to be challenged. Few people do. Lack of administration, except for things like porn/child porn posts, etc - is in my opinion, one of the best things about this site, where only things like YouTube sort of have the same groups (but depending on the video hoster...).
