The loss of communities like this on IMDb
Is the worst thing about the shutdown... I mean, sure, I can get the toxic nature of some boards like the soapbox/politics/perhaps GoT at times...
But boards with countless actors/movies/shows... Many with communities of their own, with more help for what shows are, good conversations than you can get at any other movie site.
Without the unique boards, this is just another movie information website. Places like wikia fan pages are not the same, at all.
This is a huge loss, and I don't think there is even another site out there that can take what this is doing, and replicate it anytime soon.
They should have just closed the toxic boards...
