So is the female Abbie's baby Adam's? Because the baby looked human and we never saw what happened to him.

If so, what does this mean? That normal humans are coming back?

WE are the normal humans now. Just because an incestuous group of prehistoric anachronisms popped out of the side of a mountain doesn't change that.

Well technically Abbie's are mutations. I mean will there now be a race of non-mutated humans?

The only club I get down at is club penguin.

Technically, isn't all evolution a result of mutations, good or bad? I think so. It is only by mutations (variation) that certain features of a species appear and are either continued or die out, according to their desirability at the time.

Adam Hassler wasn't given that name randomly. Crouch and the other writers named him "Adam" because he is half of the "Adam and Eve" of the new species that will inherit the earth -- a cross between the Abbies and the old-time humans.

So the baby at the end of the last episode was the result of Adam getting it on with an Abby. Maybe it was Margaret or maybe someone else.

The way the Abbies evolved, it appears they can't talk, and something happened to their vocal chords along the way. But the baby in the last scene has a very human cry, and so maybe this is a sign of a return to speech.

Where the pod people will fit in if/when they wake up is anyone's guess. But they will then have to find a way to get along with the new species. That's why Jason had to die. He was a terrible leader anyway. Disliked his character and the focus on him almost made me stopped watching the entire series.

His name's Adam because his name's Adam. It's from the book series. And in the books they don't have this stupid hybrid crap. His name has nothing to do with anything
