PLEASE POST A FAREWELL TO THE FREE FALL THREAD

Agree or disagree, friend or foe, we had good discussions here that will no longer be allowed. Hopefully we can set up something else, somewhere else, but you never know, so….

Please post here: your favorite anything, your least favorite anything, what you love, what you hate, what you'll miss.

I'll start.

Ronfirv, I'll miss you. You were here in Free Fall from the beginning and I always looked forward to your insightful posts. I think we started out on shaky ground, but I can be a bit of a bitch sometimes, so that’s on me. I came to look forward to your posts, and I respect your ideas. You were always thoughtful in your posts, you never gave in to name-calling or trolling, but instead always posted with dignity and honor – you stood by your beliefs no matter what anyone thought. I'd like to have met you in real life, buy you a martini and have a good talk.

So if you're ever in Austin TX, give me a shout :)

And PrivateBozz - thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to translate and post the DVD "behind the scenes" that we in the US and other countries didn't get on the DVD. I'm sure it took a lot of your time and you didn't get anything out of it - but the gratitude of some serious fans!!!

Thank you so much for your most generous comments ; I am honored by them.

If I were in TX ever, I'd be happy to share a drink with you too, morrobay ; doubt it would be martini, but lots more to choose from! We did get off to a bit of a shaky start but from memory in part that was due to a fellow poster who took umbrage over something I had written and let's say you took her side with some fire and brimstone. (I didn't hold it against you in the long term, as you have graciously acknowledged).

In general this board has been a thoughtful one and free from spite. Some very good posts on it and may I venture to say the actors in this movie may well have visited us from time to time, and if not, then at a guess, the producers would have done.

If you have visited boards on Channing Tatum or Mark Wahlberg, to name but 2, these 2 guys really have been subjected to ridiculous and at times hysterical abuse. Unfair and completely unwarranted. Some unhappy, lonely people out there venting their bitterness, sad to say.

If you find another site where intelligent discussions can be carried on about FF, or other films & actors, happy to hear about them.

Btw, used to work in the Gulf many years ago for a very large US civil engineering group, so worked with lots American guys, and mixed with guys from the US Army, hence my ease & rapport with most Americans.

Glad indeed to have chatted with you.

I think i have offended quite a few people here too, but i suppose it is now time to say goodbye.

I was hoping to discuss Freier Fall 2 here with you guys, if there'd be one, guess we'd never be able to.

How about rotten tomatoes, guys? Do you want to continue there? It'd not be the same, but hey....

Hope you will like the next film you will see.
