I live in Australia, where can I see this?

I would really like to see this film on the big screen, but I have no idea when or where it will show, can anyone help me out?

reply

I'm not sure a wide international release was announced, yet. I wouldn't be surprised if it was released in November along with most of the world.

Release dates are here ....

I have no idea how exhaustive this info is, but it doesn't look like good news for Aus.

It's showing in Belfast. You can see it there.

i'm surprised how little splash it's made. it's on limited release in the UK even. you'd think it would have been released more widely.

because it ran in the berlin film festival, i expected it to be shown in germany or released on DVD at least but no such luck.

reply

When we went to see it on the day it was released, we could only choose from 2 showings - 4pm or 10pm - whereas Guardians of the Galaxy had several showings that day.

So much for the UK promoting British films, tut..

reply

yeah i found that quite sad as well. i hope it'll stick around and find its audience but it feels like someone dropped the ball on marketing or whatnot. i feel a lot more noise was made around 'starred up' earlier in the year. (i'm only comparing them because o'connell is in both of them, i guess) perhaps it's an odd film to market, i really think a multiplex audience could like it, it's so relentless - but then depressing as well.

reply

Agreed. I can't find a single place near Liverpool, Chester or N-Wales showing it.

reply

i think it's already vanished from the screens in london. slim chance of it showing up elsewhere.

wait for the DVD etc, it's well worth it!

reply

Never heard of this film until now. Pretty sure it did not get an Aussie cinema release. Maybe at a film festival or something. Looks interesting. I'd say this is something SBS would show.

It's coming to Palace Cinemas on 19 March 2015.

It will be shown at Palace Cinemas as part of their British Film Festival soon! Can't wait to see it. Zulu, Hard Day's Night and If... are playing too!.

Greater Union (Event) Cinemas will be releasing it 2 April 2015. Not sure how wide a release it will have.

If you want to see it sooner, it will be released March 9 on DVD through Amazon UK.
