Does anyone know if this movie is coming out in theaters? Or if this movie is goin straight to DVD or iTunes or something? I'm an Afghan war vet so I'm extremely interested in checking this film out and seeing what area they were messing around in. Thanks for anyone's help.
shareI am a former Marine with 2/8 G Co. My unit along with Echo, Fox, and Weapons were the USMC units that are in this movie/documentary. Our AO was the southern Helmand Province. That is probably as much information I am allowed to mention.
shareI was in Kunar in 11-12, I was a sniper with the army 25th ID, this film didn't look like it was filmed in helmond cuz it was pretty mountainous, but you probably know more than me, I am dying to see it though.
shareI think the film used more than one unit. Most of the trailer seems to be with 101st airborne units but it does say they went with marines too. So I think this film covered more than one unit in more than one AO.
