Interesting... Mostly white cast
...and none of the Tyler Perry "regulars" (i.e. the Browns, Aunt Bam, etc.)
A lot like Witness Protection I guess.

I would love to see Palmer Williams in this.

Isnt it funny that the recent Tyler Perry films in which he actively included white characters in have fared the WORST box office-wise than his earlier predominantly black productions?
'When there's no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.'
I think people are getting tired of Madea...I mean how many movies has that character been in? Sure, the first two movies people liked it. Now that there is Redbox/Netflix, why see it at the theater? They can still support the film without pay $10 a ticket to see it. I don't think it is necessarily because of the White cast in it.
shareI said "Tyler Perry films" not "Tyler Perry Madea" films in particular. Tyler Perry has recently tried to crossover and include white castmembers in his productions and they've basically done poorly altogether.

Oh, you did say that. Sorry. I could also say the same thing about the non-Madea movies he makes. Almost identical plots. That is also why I am tired of them. I typically don't see these types of movies in the theater anyway, Tyler Perry or not. Unless I am on a date and someone else is willing to pay. Haha!
shareHis first 4 avg. 50m and last 4, not including "Peeples", avg. 47m. Not a big difference.
Well they release the play before the film. It's like watching a TV movie then pumping 25 million into it and re releasing it. Can't be a good business model.
