for showing people what a real, professionally- produced movie with a Black cast looks like in comparison to Madea. The close release to Best Man Holiday is no doubt responsible for the lack of interest in this Madea nonsense. People were reminded that they don't have to settle for mediocrity. Perhaps this marks the end of the Madea era. (Finally)

You are correct. That is whst happens when you have your iwn studio...you can do what you want. His movies dont cist much to make so it always turns s profit

AGAIN the OP is generalizing, since when are ALL black people the same or have the SAME interests? I didn't care for this film BUT Perry does have some solid successful films.

Now, in terms of Best Man Holiday YES it did well. However, black people are INDIVIDUALS stop lumping all blacks into one group. Some blacks like Tyler Perry while others DO NOT.
