Is he dreaming or what? I watch a movie for almost 2 hours and non of the main storyline is explained, wtf! Never explains who she works for. Then the way it ended sucked. This could have been a decent movie with a few changes.
There is no explanation, because it is fairy tale about super girl on her own who alone is fighting against two mystical "organizations". She is no CIA or FIB, because it would be very strange agent who is establishing private relationships left and right, working without any support, spare vehicles and her firepower only pistol.
shareShe works for whoever Garret Dillahunt works for, apparently assassinating certain people for whatever reasons. Then Dillahunt betrayed the agency by aligning himself with the Russians. I think.
But apparently a bunch of agents did because her black friend turned too. But yeah it's pretty vague and it's not really explained whether she really loves him or he was just a cover just like the previous dude, and I guess they died. I dunno.
I would say she was something like CIA. There were allot of flashbacks and the ending included his imagined/ wishful thinking of them going away. He was heartbroken, searches for her and when he finally finds her they die in a final shoot out.
