"It's OK to commit a crime to cover another one?". I know they wanted to save that guy, but he got himself into that (as the rich guy said).
That's the answer TATE was looking for: "BO, it's not normal to go around helping everyone because some people get in trouble on their own and they probably deserve what's coming to them".
Chalk this one up to bad writing. As best guess, Bo didn't believe what Tate had told her. She's still doing what she feels is right and knows that committing a crime to cover another one is not cool. She's got a sense of right and wrong as the morality banter proved in the first part of the series.
However, the problem is that in most cases, Bo saving them could end up being a deal with the devil because things have a tendency to get destroyed in her wake.
