So Skouras in his infinite wisdom...

Shoots someone in cold blood, with the FBI sitting right there.

Any theories where this might be heading now that he's probably on the FBI most wanted list now?

reply

lol I don't know where things are going to head with Skouras....truthfully speaking, he's probably the character I least care about on the show even though he's the main "bad guy." I sometimes zone out when he's on. Hmm...I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "FBI most wanted list" in this case lol (that the FBI might now view him as a criminal?)...but after watching Skouras steal the agent's gun and using it to shoot Winter, I knew then that Skouras truly is the enemy, and he will attempt any form of evil to achieve his goal(s). The FBI will hopefully take notice of this and come to the conclusion that Skouras can't be trusted even if they are on the same side as him. :P

That might be what's about to happen. The FBI has gotten some really nasty surprises with Bo, Winter and Co, so this might be the final straw so to speak.

Since Skouras has finally shot someone, possibly mortally wounding, he's now a considered a criminal. Hopefully they do better catching him than they did with Bo and Tate.

I had to laugh when Skouras grabbed the gun and fired. It was like something a bratty little kid who didn't get his way would do. I mean, seriously? The FBI are right THERE! He's got to be the dumbest scientist ever! Further proof of his dumbness...bringing Dani into his compound without knowing anything about her and then trusting her to give him all information she plucked from Channing's head. She has no loyalty to Skouras, so there is no reason she wouldn't use her powers against him (like she did with Zoe). And the government gave this dope how much money for his program?

reply

He did that with the FBI right there, but the FBI were on HIS side!!! The FBI are the ones to help bring Winter and his team in.

Yes, seriously, Skouras would do that. Did you really expect him NOT to "try something" once he was freed? He wouldn't have been a true villain if he didn't.

Yes he trusts Dani to give him all the information. Skouras has more than enough people on his team and they all have enough knowledge to bring her down. Hence they Winter is trying to HIDE Bo from Skouras. Why would Dani bring Skouras down at this time? At this time, Dani believes Skouras is some saint who is trying to rescue her and bring her heaven on Earth.

The government paid Skouras a lot of money for the program because the deal with the United States Army is that Skouras is supposed to build a SUPER ARMY with telekinetic people for them.

That's the problem though, Skouras is not really seeing the forest for the trees. Agreed that Dani probably thinks she just found Heaven On Earth, but the issue that if both Bo and Dani turn on him, he's definitely roadkill. At this point, I do see Bo turning on him if she's pushed hard enough. Also, the FBI would not ignore shooting Channing, however it's possible in the Believe universe.

Correction, WERE bringing Winter and Co in. The FBI was out of the game and suddenly brought back in after a 4? episode hiatus.

Skouras grabbed the gun and tried to shoot Winter because he found out about his secondary secret program that will make the Government his enemy. Winter told him that if he doesn't dismantle orchestra, he is going to give the Government the information on the project. Skouras thought that if he could kill him here then he could keep the truth secret.

reply

actually I went back and rewatched it yesterday to make sure I was right, there was another "orchestra" like program.

The whole thing is mute now because Skouras just shot someone in cold blood, with the FBI right there, there's no question he's a fugitive.

Yes, because that is how the Government works. So long as Skouras is able to provide the military with telekinetic weapons he can do whatever the hell he wants.
